Coromandel Peninsula

Coromandel Peninsula is east of Auckland.  It is a rugged range with a history of volcanic activity giving it unique landscapes.  

Whangapoua Beach is towards the top of the peninsula, on the eastern side.  The Mercury Islands are directly offshore and are a haven for boating, fishing and diving.

Whangapoua is a 2 hours 45 minutes drive from Auckland.  Be sure to enjoy the spectactular coastal scenery between Thames and Coromandel township.  Details of how to get there will be provided once your booking is confirmed.
